First diy job since my last back injury .
With Rogers PSE setup he needed a center cab to hold the PSE in place and being able to stack his 18" cab's for a pseudo MTM config.
A simple box with an elliptical center section the PSE to be set in and a opening in the back to mount the xovers & access the mid/CD drivers .
Heres the test cut out and final cut out.
With these cabs we will be able to test a semi isolated/dampened mount arrangement for the PSE . If it works I will use it in my cabs .

Atleast Roger has his up & running with only a pair of 18"s at the moment
The only problem I see with this center cab ,it will be hiding all that carbon fibre goodness
Cheers
Tonight after work we rubbed down the cab's and got the textured paint on the side's .
Night shift Sat & Sun so will give the cabs time to dry before painting the saturn finish on the front baffles .
The colour will go from a blue brown to black oonce dried .

Yes yes, but does it float?
John!
Submarines float AND sink.
I don.t think Gill would let me sell them
Passive on the PSE active on the bass & subs
Its tempting to find out
Seriously that's awesome work Mal :notworthy:
Thanks mate

We've spent months (years?) looking at them...when can we hear them?
You only get to see builds of Mal's work.
No-one ever hears anything running!
"...when can we hear them?"
Some kinda crazy talk!

Looking good Mal, these are gonna look great, commercial quality.
Shame about the sound, but that's not the aim, is it ?
What's this sound you talk bout ?
well it's not a full-range driver, so will suffer the problems of multi-driver speakers.
