As the risk of seeming ignorant, what makes it worth $9k?

Very emotive Seano But why are you confused? Hah, and I've only just realized that there's a pop-down menu over on the right with all the emoticons on it...
-
Heh heh, you may well be right But I posit that something that's a meter tall is at least not life-threatening to maintain (as opposed to something that's 12 meters tall...!) Graham, with the days being longer I'm trying to spend an hour or so e…

Good description, thanks Nigel! I almost feel like I was there :-)

Cool. Did you redo all six panels? How long does it take to do one?

Um, OK we will need to postpone this one. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be shipping this pair as I haven't been given a date so maybe early Jan. Will update with progress. Sorry! Too optimistic. (As usual)

Ummm let's try again: The green ones are vertical braces. I was thinking about having a lot more horizontal ones instead.

Oh good, that makes three of us! I'm not sure if this will come through very well, but here's the cross-section of what I ended up with for this (the ported base for mini convertible):

Oh you're doing the bracing on the outside on that one? Sorry I'm now confused

Please do keep us updated! I've wanted to try doing some recording for a while although I think I've decided not to do anything like that now. For me it was mostly out of interest in learning a bit more about the process.
