Things have been moving slower than we would like :-| ,having to pay other people to do work I could do isn't fun either .
Anyway we had the cork flooring & carpet pulled up & a grind in the Kitchen & family area . They ran out of time so their coming back Tuesday to fill the lows and grind a high down thats @ 1m x 0.5 m ,almost a 10mm hump .
I need to trim down the kitchen kick panels due to the height of the new floor . Our cabinet maker made the cabinets plinths 10mm higher to allow for different flooring heights .
Having brick internal walls and no architraves made it tricky to do the expansion gaps . We ended up using a alloy anidised C channel bonded to the slab .

Damn straight Mal.
If you don't fight, you lose! =D>
You have four TVs? :-O
What's the problem with 4 TVs?
We have
STB via a 26" Sony Trinitron CRT
42" plasma
50" Plasma
STB via projector onto 130" screen
Except the Projector, all others would be used most days.
Nothing X_X
Guess what John there's a 70" TV going in tomorrow :-) , out with the plasma :-)
Hurgle burgle totem pole. On that little arm?
What arm ?
The swing-out bracket.
That's for the TV in the kitchen area ,this is the TV for the lounge .

Progress, slow but sure, is still progress! :-b
Agreed.
How are you enjoying the warehouse ambience without the floor covering? Very trendy these days I hear.
Hi All
We ended up going with Ready Cork flooring . The slab's high spots were ground down and lows were filled .
Cheers
