How to cut square holes
I finally figured out how to get a neat square(ish) hole! All you need is one of these:

I don't have that exact one but same type of thing. To start with I used an "L" made from two pieces of scrap as a template, not perfect results but better (and quicker) than before:
Unfortunately I stuffed up adding roundovers to some of these pieces (that was supposed to be the easy part!) which triggered a bit of a rethink on the design of the panels, will try again tomorrow.

If the holes are square why are there round overs in the corners
