The original and best! (?) I'd have died without mine (Bosch). However without such a need for surgically removing framing I probably wouldn't got one. What are you using it for?

Last job was trimming the tops of the treated pine posts that hold up the lad's cubby house so they wouldn't obstruct the corrugated iron cladding.
The machine itself is very quiet (and has a soft start!). The noise starts when the blades dig into a job!
I should get us some of the diamond coated cutters now that I think on it...and maybe some other cutters as well...so many to pick from!! Only downloaded drivers etc from their website. Nice that they have youtube assistance forall that registration etc, shame the screens they showed didn't agree with what I was seeing but all-in-all useful. I think it is raeady to go. Russell is coming over tonight to hear the massive improvement the active preamp makes compared to my prev passive.

Getting up to answer the door is hard work, I've ballooned to 165Kg and struggle to get out of the chair. Thinking about paying for a woman to come and wash the dead scales off my feet and draw the curtains to get some air through the place.
Nigel, what you need is a nice levitating chair like this. Perhaps you can get one delivered?
I wish quoting random credit card numbers worked for me. You will have to tell me your trick. Although that might challenge the definition of "random"... Mine is feeling a bit challenged after the washer and dryer both failed within a week of each other. They're not even the same brand FFS. At least I have a nice drill/driver to disassemble them with... so I can take the parts to the tip, I had brief thoughts of trying to repair them myself but sense (and a sensible wife) triumphed.
Now, back to new tools... well I know what's next!
Well my multitool has been used for tiling jobs now! I used the grout removal blades and the scraper. I think this one is nearly worn out already... I might try replacements from this guy, his wood blades work pretty well.
Back on topic, I've "always" wanted to try a barrel-grip jigsaw, now I have one.

Batteries cost a freakin bomb, more than the saw, but I decided the 4 Ah were worth it, saws use a lot of juice,
I also got the sabre saw to replace the Makita one that the blade head keeps coming loose on, haven't used it yet though. The little sabre saws are like a different tool to the full size ones. I've decided that these are really the only tools I want in the 10.8 V size.
