    Finally got it built a few months back but the transformer went fut on me. Still trying to save up some more money for a new trafo.
    Since we last talked I have built a new cd transport , streamer and v.recently added a new valve output stage to my dac.
    About to start rebuilding my Ming Da 300b pre after another transformer 'incident'.
    I get 248v at the outlet so a stepdown t is on the cards too.

    Hi Gordon, not that new actually :) Too bad about the transformers, 248 is definitely on the high side, I only recently discovered that AU is officially 230.
